Fabric covered shutters

An unusual window or door treatment are fabric covered shutters. They are made out of lightly padded lightweight MDF and thus are great light, sound and draught blockers. Unlike plantation shutters which have a set look, the options are endless with this treatment. Nails of various finishes can be used as well as almost any fabric you desire. Here they have been commissioned for a bedroom with a dormer type sloped ceiling where other window treatments, such as curtains or blinds, would not have worked nearly so well due to the side walls.
